New research with SUGi Pocket Forests

sugi

SUGi Pocket Forests build biodiversity, climate resilience and wellbeing in communities across the world.

Led by SUGi and Molly Tucker at Oxford’s Long Term Ecology Laboratory (OXLEL), this study is investigating the contribution of SUGi Pocket Forests, particularly their scents, in promoting positive health outcomes in London.

We are seeking volunteers.

No scientific knowledge is required, and full guidance will be provided by the researchers throughout the process. Participants will be asked to spend 30 minutes in one SUGi Pocket Forest in London and 30 minutes in a nearby urban area:

Forest of Thanks | Wednesday 17th September 2025
