I am a Research Assistant working on plant trait collection and data analysis as part of a biodiversity project aimed at estimating sugar availability across different landscapes. The project involves collecting plant traits to produce monthly sugar maps. My role includes fieldwork in Africa, detailed plant trait measurements, and data analysis.

Prior to this, I worked as a Research Assistant on an International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) project in Uganda, where I was involved in mainly the socio-ecological field data collection.

I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Human Nutrition from Oxford Brookes University, where my research focused on the effects of food insecurity on the nutritional status of food bank users in Oxford. With a background in both agriculture and nutrition, I am especially interested in how environmental conditions affect human health and wellbeing, and how research across nutrition, agriculture, and ecology can inform practical, sustainable interventions.
