I am a research assistant working on a project in collaboration with the Innovative Vector Control Consortium (IVCC) and partners in Africa assessing the availability of sugar across Africa produce high resolution monthly sugar maps. The resulting maps will be used to help inform of the effectiveness of Attractive Targeted Sugar Baits (ATSBs) in mosquito control across diverse landscapes with the aim of reducing malaria transmission.
Alongside this, I am undertaking a DPhil with the Wildlife Conservation Research Unit (WildCRU), also in the Department of Biology, and the Saupe Lab in the Department of Earth Sciences, examining the impacts of climate change on lions. I previously undertook an integrated Master's in Geological Science and an MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation, both at the University of Leeds.
